Why do we require a license?

Back to the topic at hand, based on diving trainers a license is required to prove that someone is able to handle themselves safely down in the ocean. Without a license, you will always need a guide to aid you. Type of Diving Licenses in Komodo Diving Liveaboard

There are many types of licenses for diving based on how experienced the person is. The basic one is Open Water Diver. This is the license that everyone willing to dive anywhere should get. With Open Water Diver license, you are allowed to dive mostly anywhere in the open sea within certain depth requirement. The next one is Advanced Diver which is a rank higher than Scuba or Open Water Diver where you can get permission to dive in an area with depth more than 18 meters. And finally, there’s a Master Diver license that serves as the highest possible rank which allows you to dive on more expert area.

Aside from normal licenses, there are also Rescue Diver license for those who wanted to be an emergency rescue divers and Instructor license for being a trainer.
