Pont Marie

Pont Marie is a lovely bridge and also known as gateway between the Marais district and the Ile de la Cite. The original bridge had been destroyed by fire due to its wooden components. Meanwhile, the current stone structure dates to around 1670. It has been existed since the 18th Century. This is considered as one of the oldest bridges in this romantic city. There are five arches which stand elegantly around the bridge. The best part is the view of the Seine and other bridges that stretches through the horizon.

Canal St. Martin

The Bridges of the Canal St-Martin is also stunning and one of the most popular spots among tourists. It is formerly known as industrial waterway. Passerella Debilly

Passerelle Debilly is a great spot to explore in Paris. It was built around 1900. The best part of this metallic footbridges is the spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower you can enjoy. The best time to visit this bridge is at dusk. You will see how the tower explodes into stunning, shimmering lights. Another great thing is that this bridge is only for pedestrian so you don’t have to deal with honking vehicles. You will be free from pollution and noise. Having dinner in the local eateries around the neighborhood is totally worth it as well.  

Pont des Arts

Pont des Arts connects the Palais du Louvre to the Institut de France. This is also pedestrian-only bridge so it’s no wonder that this place is loved by tourist and locals. This spot is often used as picnic spot by tourists and Parisians especially during spring and summer. You will get to see the view of the Eiffel tower as well as the glittering play of light from this bridge. This place was once used as ‘lovelocks’ spot but has been removed due to structural damage as well as safety concern.
